Ice Skating

Ice Skating is a dangerous, physical sport and it happens to be my favorite sport. Ice Skating is my stress reliever even though it can be tiring and painful. I have lost count of all the bruises I have gotten from falling on the ice. Falling on the ice may look painless but it really isn't.
Okay what I have been trying to get to is if you have your own ice skates there are a few things you can't do without like 1. You need laces to tie up your boot of course 2. You need what are called hard gaurds so when you walk on the ground your blades won't get as dull.

3. You need what are called soft gaurds or also known as soakers. You put soakers on your blade when you are done skating so the blade doesn't become rusted from the wetness. you always want to store your ices skates with the soakers on or you'll be sorry.
The two jumps I have learned in the past year are the waltz jump and the toe loop. The waltz jump is a half rotation. This jump you don't use your toe pick you use your edge unlike the toe loop in which you use your toe pick. The toe loop is a full rotation. Well I just started this blog and I am still trying to figure it all out so as you will probably be able to tell this is my first post and it is hard for me to be able to figure out what to say and how to say it. I am excited to finally have a blog and hope you like it. THE END FOR NOW!!!!!
